Treaty is about how we treat one another.

Andrea Bear Nicholas teaches us that the word for treaty in this land is lakotowakən (lug-Good-do-WAG-gən), meaning "a tool for making relation," literally a brotherly, sisterly, or family relation. At the Caribou Club, we invite you to experience for yourself how this way of relating to others and to land as family can transform our lives and communities.
