Our relatives the sugar maples have been providing shelter and sustenance for 66 million years -- they hold many stories and have much to teach us about how and when to extend sweetness to one another and to ourselves. The 29-acre Caribou Club sugar camp features innovative solar and rain-capture technologies. Each spring, we welcome students and groups seeking to learn about the history of sap harvesting and sugar production in this place and how to recognize the signals that alert us when trees are ready to give their gift of sap. Sugary accomodations (our Caribou Camps) are currently under construction and will be ready to book in the fall of 2024.
